You must be at least 13 years old to use RIP Pool. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

2. Nature of the Service

RIP Pool is a free-to-play entertainment game modeled after fantasy sports leagues. Users predict which public figures may pass away within a given year and compete for points with other users in private leagues.

The Service is provided for entertainment purposes only. There is no real-money wagering, gambling, or prize payout of any kind. RIP Pool does not facilitate gambling and should not be construed as doing so.

3. User Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at our sole discretion.

5. Content and Public Figures

RIP Pool features predictions about public figures. All such content is for entertainment and fantasy gaming purposes only. Nothing on this Service is intended to express ill will toward any individual. We do not condone harassment of any person, living or deceased.

By using this Service, you acknowledge that the game is a long-standing form of dark humor and entertainment, similar to office pools and other informal fantasy games, and that you participate voluntarily.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with RIP Pool are the property of the operator. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

By submitting any content to the Service (such as league names or comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content in connection with operating the Service.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of any information on the Service, including information about public figures.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed $0, as the Service is provided free of charge.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of RIP Pool from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your Account Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
